HELLO my name is Brodie and this is my bio.

I’ve been freelancing as a director / dp / editor for the last 15 years (agency, direct to client, broadcast, independent films).

But this isn’t about accolades and achievements. This is about namedropping.

It all starts circa 2022 when I upload my first sketch with Damien Power and Aaron Gocs. Over the next few months we work together regularly, amass significant views and eventually make a fully fledged web series starring Sam Campbell, Mel Buttle, Cameron James and other less famous people. This streams on Aunty Donna’s Grouse House channels to great acclaim and engagement.

I then went onto work with Frankie McNair and direct / shoot / edit another web series starring Michelle Brasier, Ray O’Leary, Broden Kelly etc. This also does very well and also streams on Aunty Donna’s Grouse House channels.

I'll be real with you.  I often want to be the only crew on set so I can make the cast feel safe to take big swings. If prioritising grounded and alive performances is not your speed, I'M SORRY, but it's my number one value. Close second is working fast and intuitively. I've been making movies since I was 11. Having 6 younger sisters and not going to school had me hit the ground running.

Thinkerbell, Publicis, Clemenger, Warner, Ludo, SBS, ABC have all paid me to do my thing. Currently making a doco on Rhys Nicholson. James Acaster and Ronny Chieng are exec producing, so some nice, big names to end on.
